Key design principles

The project team have carefully considered effective placemaking to deliver visually interesting and attractive homes which are sympathetic to the surrounding character and countryside and create spaces for residents to meet, play and relax. Generous landscaping will be delivered around the edges of the development alongside walking routes which connect homes with new neighbourhood parks.

We have taken inspiration from local architecture and surrounding buildings to design two distinct character areas. These will include primary streets with cycle paths which connect with quieter mews and terrace streets.

A variety of Landscaped edges form the boundary to the site and creates an attractive context for the residential parcels to respond to. The masterplan must limit the number of access points from the primary & secondary roads, to maintain pedestrian and cycling priority within the infrastructure networks.
